CONFIDENT SMILE THROUGH BETTER DENTISTRY
DENTAL BRIDGES
Dental bridges literally bridge the gap created by one or more missing teeth.A bridge is made up of two or more crowns for the teeth on either side of the gap.
Bridge is a fixed dental restoration used to replace one or more missing teeth by joining an artificial tooth to adjacent teeth or dental implants.
Both, crowns and bridges are fixed prosthetic devices.Unlike removable devices such as dentures, crowns and bridges are cemented onto existing teeth or implants and can only be removed by a dentist.
WHY CROWN REPLACEMENT RECOMMENDED?
- Replace a large filling when there isn’t enough tooth remaining.
- Restore a fractured tooth.
- Protect a weak tooth from fracturing.
- Attach a bridge.

- Cover a discoloured (or) poorly shaped tooth.
- Cover a tooth that has/had root canal treatment.

Avoid sticky, chewy foods(Eg:chewing gum, caramel) which have the potential of grabbing and pulling off the crown.
